| | 2007-03-30 Toronto Raptors at Washington Wizards | | For the second consecutive game, the Raptors are in a game which the winner gets 3rd place in the East. The Raptors are proving to be one of the better teams in the NBA. A victory here would send a message to the Wizards. It would result in the Raptors taking 3 of 4 from the Wizards this year, a highly likely best of 5 Playoff Opponent. What are your thoughts on this game?
I say the Raptors have pretty much a 50/50 chance at this game. | |
| | 2007-03-06 Toronto Raptors @ Washington Wizards | | This promises to be an interesting game, and one that I very much hope the Raptors can win. It is teams like the Wizards they will need to get past to get anywhere in the playoffs, and they are only 2 games behind them. The Raptors can conceivably finish 2nd in the East if they can catch up to the Wizards and Cavaliers.Hopefully the Raptors will have Bargnani back for tonights game and turn things back around in terms of their amazing shooting percentages. This promises to be an interesting match-up. How do you guys think it will turn out? | |
| | Washington Wizards still on top | | With the recent surge of the Miami Heat and the Wizards ailing defense are the Washington Wizards still able to hold on to the top spot in the Southesat Division?

| | How i came to support Washington Wizards! | | I started to support WW when Michael Jordan was playing for WW. He truly inspired me with his breath-taking plays despite the increasing odds(old age) against him. It really doesnt help that his team-mate was just standing around, awe strucked by him. Lol. One of his finest wizard moment was when he blocked and literally took away the ball from the opponent while they were on a fast break.(cant rem who that sucker was:) ) even after he left WW, i still check out WW games every now and then. I'm still proud of them as this current batch of players are really good. (butler, antawn, arenas) The big three!! but arenas seems to talk too much trash.lol. What about you guys(the prestiged 9 out of 70,000 people who put WW as their favourite club)? How did you came to love this ball club? | |
| | | John Wall Looms to be the First Pick in the NBA | | John Wall of the Kentucky Wildcats is expected to be the first pick in this years NBA draft. Standing 6 foot 4 inches, he plays guard and average 22.1 points, 5.5 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in his senior year. Could he land in the first pick? | |
| | Washington wins the first pick in the NBA 2010 Draft | | This could be something big for the Washington Wizards and also in the upcoming years. Winning the first pick in the NBA 2010 Draft gives them the chance to take John Wall or Evan Turner, two of the highly acclaimed hopefuls in the draft. The Wizards, projected to end up 5th overall, could have a very big 2010-2011 season since marquee star Gilbert Arenas is also set to return. After trading Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison away in the middle of the 2009-2010 season, the Wizards could now head to rebuilding with their number 1 pick and Arenas (hopefully). The Philadelphia 76ers, projected to be 6th overall, got the 2nd overall pick while cellar dweller, the New Jersey Nets, got the third overall pick. The Nets were expected to land at the number 1 spot.Rounding up the draft picks are Minnesota (4th), Sacramento (5th), Golden State (6th), Detroit (7th), Los Angeles Clippers (8th), Utah (9th - from New York via Phoenix), Indiana (10th), New Orleans (11th), Memphis (12th), Toronto (13th), and Houston (14th).The Nets, finishing the season with a 12-70 record, had a 25% chance of winning the lottery but fell to third overall. The last time a team who finished with the worst... | |
| | Gilbert Arenas | | Anybody got news on when will Arenas gonna play? He's one of the few players that i started to like this season. Ironically, the day that i liked to watch Arenas play is the same day that he got injured. | |
| | Michael Jordon | | Michael Jordon was inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in Springfield,Massachusett this week. I read an article on this and I couldn't believe what an a## Jordan was in his exceptance speech! He did not thank alot of his teammantes, coaches, and other people who helped him become the best NBA player of all time! Jordan was rude and insulting! He acted like he still hasn't excepted he has retired and still thinks he can play! He is the GM with the Charlotte Bobcats but he'll screw it up like he did with the Washington Wizards! Jordan isn't front office material unless he does some growing up! I think Jordan is living in his own little world and I'd like the balloon be poped so Jordan can experience the real word! | |
