| new york yankees, new yankee stadium | | yankees won today coming from behind to beat tampa bay 4-3 and winning a series in which they lost the first game 15-5 no small feat in of itself. xavier nady went on the dl today with elbow problems may require surgery and could be out for the year. i have been a yankees fan since i was a kid but the last couple of years no matter how much talent they seem to have they don't get any consistency. it was nice to see them battle back today from behind and they had a nice last couple games but you just never know with this team they open the new yankee stadium tommorrow it sure looks nice. cc sabathia our new acquisition in the off season is scheduled to pitch against cliff lee last years cy young winner hope we can get the new stadium off with a win. | |
| | New York Yankees sign A.J. Burnett | | The New York Yankees have signed pitcher A.J. Burnett to a 5 year deal worth $82.5 million dollars. They are spending a lot of money to get all the pitchers they want. A.J. is coming off his best season of his career and is a #1 or #2 starter. The Yankees will have a great rotation in #1 CC Sabathia, #2 Chien-Ming Wang, #3 A.J. Burnett, #4 Joba Chamberlain, #5 Phil Hughes? It looks like the Yankees are the team to beat, and they want a championship sooner rather than later. Does this signing make the Yankees the favorites to win it all? | |

| New York yankees | | I am not a sports fan but hey my husband is. His #1 is New York Yaknees. Since we live in Ontario, we should cheer for Toronto BlueJays. Nah! My husband loves New York Yankees. When ever there is a play off, he must watch it. I even made him a New York Yankees pillow few years a go by crossticching. He loves it. I made it a round pillow with the fancy lace around it. | |
| | What Do You Think About The 2008 New York Yankees? | | I think that they haven't learned from last year. You need good pitching in order to win which they haven't had in a while. I think that they can't get themselves to far behind like they did last year. If they do end up getting far behind again I don't think they will make the playoffs this year. | |

| Roger Clemens - New York Yankees | | All of you baseball fans our there...I want to know if you think Roger will make a positive, negative or neutral impact to the Yankees. Also, let me know what baseball team you route for. I am a Red Sox fan. | |
| | 007-04-25 Toronto Blue Jays (Burnett) at New York Yankees (Pettite) | | The Jays look to continue with hot offense. They'll need it. They are missing Reed Johnson, Troy Glaus and possibly Gregg Zaun. With the loss of BJ Ryan, the Yankees have 9 innings to beat us rather than the usual 8, so either Burnett is going to have a great outing or our offense is going to have to out-slug theirs. My prediction for tonights game is that Burnett will have a decent, but not stellar outing, so as long as our offense doesn't struggle, we'll be OK.What are your thoughts on the game? | |

| New York Yankees | | The Yankees lead the Red Sox by 9 games. They are going to the playoffs and have an excellent chance of winning the World Series.NEW York Yankees http://jimcolyer.com/papers/entry?id=41 | |

| How should the New york Yankees cut their payroll? | | I think that:
1. Get rid of Randy Johnson he costs us $16 million a year.
2. Trade off Hideki Matsui or Bobby Abreu, Melky Cabrera is as good and costs way less.
3. Get rid of Carl Pavano, he costs like what $10 million and hes barely even pitched yet.
4. Deal Jason Giambi or Alex Rodriguez, the Yankees would get tons of great prospects/players in return and young talent is always good.
5. Bring up Phil Hughes and some other young pitchers instead of Randy Johnson and Carl Pavano.Ok what do you guys think? | |
