| New Orleans Hornets spoil Jason Kidd's debut as a Maverick | | Did anyone watch Jason Kidd's debut as a Dallas Maverick? His stats were not the greatest. Dallas lost. But I think he made an impact in the sense that he changed the team's makeup into a running offense. He might have done so in a losing cause last night, but I think in the long run it will help Dallas. What do you think? | |
| | New Orleans Hornets #1 in Power Rankings? Does anyone agree? | | I just saw on Fox Sports that the New Orleans Hornets are #1 in Power Rankings for the NBA. Does anyone else agree with this? I still think Boston is #1. Boston has lost 4 of the last 8 games, but I don't really seeing that making a big impact on their season. What does everyone else think? | |

| | Where should the Seattle Supersonics make their home? | | I live near Oklahoma City and the Hornets just finished their season here. They were a welcome addition to this state and the fans were so loyal. Oklahoma City, while hosting the Hornets, had some of the best fans and some of the best attendance records in the NBA. Now, it looks like the Supersonics may be looking for a new home after 40 years. The owner of the Seattle Supersonics is an Oklahoman. The city of Seattle doesn't look like they are going to approve the financing needed to keep the team there.Where do you think they should go? Oklahoma City? Oklahoma City is ready to host an NBA team. Do you think so? | |

| | The NBA's Southwest Division is the toughest and closest | | The Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets, and the New Orleans Hornets. What do they all have in common? They've all got winning records in the 2009-2010 season so far and they all belong to the Western Conference's Southwest Division. For quite some time already, this has been the toughest division in the NBA. Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston are all playoffs contenders for a long time already while New Orleans has been one of the hottest teams since Chris Paul arrived. The Memphis Grizzlies however is the biggest surprise of the season. Dallas (29-15), San Antonio (25-18), Memphis (24-19), Houston (24-20), and New Orleans (24-20) are all playoffs caliber teams for this 2009-2010 season. Memphis and Houston has been the biggest success stories so far. The Grizzlies are banking on young stars Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo, and surprisingly, the surge of international center Marc Gasol. Veteran Zach Randolph on the other hand, after struggling with the New York Knicks, have regained some of his form and is one of the reasons why Memphis has been overachieving. Maybe a big thanks too for Allen Iverson's departure. Houston on the other hand is groomed to be one... | |

| So what is more important,a superstar or the teamwork? | | Today Houston Rockets is reversed by New Orleans Hornets in the last few minuts.Hornets' superstar CP3 plays a very important role in this game.In fact,it's no exaggeration to say the victoty attributed to him. After this game,a lot of comments say that Rockets lose the game because they lack a superstar like CP3,although they show a very good teamwork.
So what's your opinion on this game?Is supershar more important than teamwork?
| | NBA Team Rankings | | 1. Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are the returning NBA champs and have brought back their major contributers from last season. They also have the addition of Ron Artest who is going to be a defensive presence that some feel the Lakers may still lack at times. Expect another NBA Finals appearance.2. Cleveland Cavaliers
Lebron James still has the bitter taste in his mouth from losing the East Conference Finals last year and coming off an MVP season don't expect him to slow down. The addition of Shaq will pay off as you see them checking into the NBA Finals.3. San Antonio Spurs
Surprised? You shouldn't be. The Spurs still have all the major parts to be and contend for a championship. You have Tim Duncan who know how to win along with Tony Parker who is still one of the premier point guards in the NBA. This team lives and dies with their ability to stay healthy. Outside of Phil Jackson, Gregg Papovich is probably the best coach in the NBA. Expect a WCF appearance and hanging with the Lakers for 6 or 7 games. 4. Boston Celtics
While they aren't getting any younger, the big three can still win and they brought extra fire power this year. The addition of Rasheed Wallace...
