myLot Discussions| Milwaukee Brewers | | I see there are some Milwaukee Brewers fans on Mylot! That is nice to see! I love the Brewers and hope they do better this season(2009) then last season! GO BREWERS!! | |
| | So How about the Milwaukee Brewers?? | | I am a huge fan of the milwaukee brewers. Did you see that game last night? I was sure we would not win it when again we pulled it off in the nineth inning. I was yelling, screaming, jumping up and down just like a little kid. Can you name who hit the home run that also drove a run in and won the game for us? DianeOh my husband, daughter, grandaughter, and mother in law are going to the game tonight I am so excited they are sitting right behind home plate so i will most likely see them on tv. Have you have been to a brewers game or on TV? | |
| | 7th Inning... | | Last night, my in laws and I went to the ball game, my very first to see a professional baseball game. I would say that I am going to watch a ball game again,[em]wink[/em] It's fun to scream when your team is going to hit the ball and scream when they miss a ball... I love screaming, hahaha... and they started to sing"Take Me Out To The Ball Game" in the 7th inningThe mascot was so cute and funny, and we have our picture together... Here, take a look![em]cool[/em]Have you watch any ball games yet? Was your team the winning team? coz ours were pounded[em]lol[/em] | |
| | playoff race | | do you think the brewers will end up on top of the NL central by the end of the season or do you think the cubs will catch them? | |
| | recent trade | | wat do you guys think of the recent trade for reliver scoot linebrink of the san deigo padres? from wat i kno we gave up 3 promisiing minor league pitchers for him however i feel like it was a good trade giving us more stability and veteran leadership for the playoff run | |
| | What is your Sunday morning routine? | | Do you have one? Do you do basically the same things every Sunday? Or is every Sunday different? Well for me it depends if my hubby works or not on Sundays, usually he doesnt but today he is. Just until noon though so its not the I am alone here all day. Anyhow for me Sundays are pretty much like any other day around here. I get up usually by 8 at the latest. I turn on the news and have myself two cups of instant coffee. After that or during that I come on here to update my antivirus stuff and check my emails, do my click sites and post some on mylot. Then its off to the shower. After that i try to eat breakfast usually a sanwhich but sometimes eggs depending on what I want. I usually stay on here until around lunch time but I do take breaks. Now the difference between weekdays and sundays for me is, starting at noon FOOTBALL comes on. This week our team play on monday night so I am sure we will have football on and also it is the last game for our milwaukee brewers so i will also put that on from time to time. So basically thats my sundays. I start dinner and get it cooking in the slow cooker around noon or one. We eat around five. Bed at nine. So do you have a Sunday morning... | |
| | Do you think CC sabathia is worth $140 million | | All the talk has been about CC Sabathia going to the yankees's for $140 million next year. This would be a higher salary than the one Johan Santana got from the mets. The big argument is that no pitcher should be paid that amount of money. When they talk about Sabathia, they say his weight is an issue. They also say to invest that much money into any pitcher is not a good move because you never know how long his arm is going to hold up. And you also have to take into consideration the way the Milwaukee Brewers used the hell out of him to get into the post season. Pitching him on 3 days rest several times. So what do you guys think? Especially the Yankees fans out there. Would you invest that much money into a pitcher? Is it worth it in the long run? what happens when your team is starting to rebuild and you wanna get rid of salaries? Now you are stuck with high priced players that you can't get rid of because of the amount of money they make. | |
| | | Can someone tell me Why? | | All baseball players chew gum or tobacco? It really drives me crazy wathcing these guys chomp on these things. Our coach of the Milwaukee Brewers is about the worst I have ever seen. He has the hugest wadd of gum in his month all the time. Tell me why do baseball players always chew on things? | |
