| | Real Racism from Rush's Critics - the Hypocrisy of the Left | | Amidst all the phony outrage over Rush Limbaugh's supposed racism - and yes I mean phony - are wonderful gems of actual racist comments by NFL owners and Rush critics that go completely overlooked. Why? Well, they weren't incorrectly attributed to Rush. They weren't even real words said by Rush. They were real comments said by people the leftist media doesn't hate. For instance, Jesse Jackson expressed his outrage over Rush buying into an NFL team. You know Jesse, he's the post-racial guy that called New York "Hymietown".Or Al Sharpton, whose entire media career is built on making racial issues out of things that never even happened, like the Tawana Brawley case or skewering those college kids at Duke University. But they don't own NFL teams.Jennifer Lopez, however, is a minority owner in an NFL team, the Miami Dolphins. J-Lo is the one who penned and sang these words:“And the game done chose me to bring pain to ni**as and pu**y holes, they one in the same.” There's more of these interesting comparisons here:http://bighollywood.breitbart.com/sright/2009/10/16/nfl-owners-who-use-the-n-word-and-wet-their-pants-on-stage/Now if no one objects to the... | |
| | Study shows that monkeys learn from mistakes, someone? | | Monkeys are able to learn from their mistakes and will take risks to potentially win better rewards when playing games according to a new study."this is the first evidence that monkeys, like people, have 'would -have,could -have,should-have 'thoughts ." said Ben Hayden,a researcher at the Duke University Medical Center and lead author of the study published in the journal Science.
Hayden and his team trained the monkeys to associate a green square on a computer screen with a " high value" reward and other colors with "low value " treats.the monkeys then played a game similar to the game show "Let us make la deal" where they had to choose between eight identical white squares.
But someone make mistakes, they do not learn from their mistakes.they think that they are right.
| | Weight Loss Does Not have to be a major battle | | Don't make yourself miserable by counting every calorie and buying every fat-burning product you see on TV.
There are so many weight loss programs out there. Some good ones and not so good.
Start with simple steps. I'd like to share these four:1. When eating out, order two appetizers and skip the main course. E. Politi, nutrition director at Duke University's Diet and Fitness center says "this keeps portion size small while satisfying you with a couple different flavors."2.Instead of pouring cooking oil into the pan, spray it on for your stir-fried dishes. Each spray releases about one-eight of a teaspoon of oil, compared to two or three teaspoons when you pour it on.
3.Watch your portions, "people who correctly identified portion sizes of foods such as chicken nuggets and cheese still ate more than the portion size" states a study taken from Sam Houston State University. So resist the temptation by sticking to single servings and put your left-overs in the fridge. 4. Stay active - try to walk each day.
| | I Am Still Doing Fine!!! | | I am shocked that I was able to log on here today. The computer that I am on is a Windows ME and as you know, it is no longer supported by Microsoft. So most of the time, I can not even get it to leave the homepage. Anyway, as always, I am happy to be able to log in if only for a little while to see what my friend's are up to. Right now, I am reading a very interesting book that I found at the 99 cent store. It is about the Duke University scandal. I am so amazed that one person could tell such an obvious lie and turn so many people's lives upside down. That was really a trying situation for all the victims involved. Last night I saw, The Never Ending Story, for the first time. It was not at all what I had expected, but it was still a very cute story. I had some problems about a week ago with one of the girls here who was bossing everyone around. We were able to speak to the owners and everything has been cleared up, however, I still avoid her. I see her as a trouble maker. | |
| | Do you know anyone who suffers from chronic headaches? | | Acupuncture beats aspirin for chronic headaches. A review of studies involving nearly 4,000 patients with migraine, tension headache and other forms of chronic headache showed that that 62 percent of the acupuncture patients reported headache relief compared to 45 percent of people taking medications, the team at Duke University found.Since I am allergic to aspirin, this might help with migraines. But I'd have to get comfortable with the thought of all those needles. Do you think the needle thing would bother you?

| | Cheney Urged Sending Troops Into Buffalo in 2002 | | You probably never expected to read this by me, but I'm very thankful nothing happened to George W. Bush during his term and that nobody got any bright ideas about impeaching him and leaving the D1ck Cheney in charge! Read more here:
The Bush administration in 2002 considered sending U.S. troops into a Buffalo, N.Y., suburb to arrest a group of terror suspects in what would have been a nearly unprecedented use of military power, The New York Times reported.
Vice President D1ck Cheney and several other Bush advisers at the time strongly urged that the military be used to apprehend men who were suspected of plotting with al Qaida, who later became known as the Lackawanna Six, the Times reported on its Web site Friday night. It cited former administration officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The proposal advanced to at least one-high level administration meeting, before President George W. Bush decided against it.
Dispatching troops into the streets is virtually unheard of. The Constitution and various laws restrict the military from being used to conduct domestic raids and seize property.
According to the Times, Cheney and other Bush aides said an Oct. 23, 2001,...
| | Obama's Love | | Just who is Reggie Love? Why, he's Barack Obama's 'Body Man'. What is a Body Man, you ask? A Body Man is like an Aide de Camp in the military, in other words, a 'gofer'. I can't imagine a more boring job, lol. One of George Bush's 'Body Men' was a young man named Blake Gottesman. He was rumored to date Jenna Bush, one of Bush's daughters. He went on to go to Harvard Business school, and I imagine he got a good letter from Bush to get him in there. There's no doubt favoritism has something to do with this job description. Trailing behind some figure head like a puppy must be boring, belittling work, but I guess somebody's got to do it! Btw, Reggie Love was a basketball player at Duke University. | |
