| Charlotte Bobcats stepping in the Cavaliers business? | | A lot of Cavaliers' fans feel that the Charlotte Bobcats GM has stepped way over the line in messing in our business with Anderson Varejao, how do you all feel about this? | | Is it Orlando Magic all the way? | | Could the Orlando Magic win this NBA championship this time after a dominating fashion against the Charlotte Bobcats and the Atlanta Hawks in the first and second round respectively? | |
|
| 3 sweeps in the NBA second round | | Orlando convincingly defeated the Atlanta Hawks in each of their 4 games, the Phoenix Suns had their sweetest revenge against the San Antonio Spurs, and the defending champions easily cruised past against the shorthanded Utah Jazz to move up to the conference finals. The Western Conference Finals is already set with the defending champions Lakers and the surprising Suns facing each other while the defending Eastern Conference champions Magic will still have to wait for the Cleveland Cavaliers-Boston Celtics winner.Orlando still has to lose a game in the playoffs as they swept the first round against the Charlotte Bobcats while the Lakers and Suns entered the second round losing 2 games to their respective first round opponents. After losing 2 games against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round, the Lakers won their last 6 playoffs games and proved a point that they're still a solid contender after struggling against the young and gritty Thunder. The Suns on the other hand lost their first game to the shorthanded Portland Trail Blazers, split the first 4 games before winning their last 6.For the Magic, much credit would go to their deep bench. Dwight Howard, Vince... | |
| | Boston wins series; Miami could now focus on rebuilding | | Boston's fantastic 4 came up big in game 5 against the Miami Heat and ended the series, 4-1, with a 96-86 win at home. Ray Allen led the Celtics with 24 points and Paul Pierce added 21 as both combined for an impressive 17 for 28 shooting from the field. Kevin Garnett finished with 14 points while Rajon Rondo, by far in his most impressive game of the series, flirted with a triple double with 16 points, 12 assists, and 8 rebounds. Rondo also has 4 steals in the win. Boston is the second team in the playoffs to barge to the second round, following the Orlando Magic's sweep against the Charlotte Bobcats. The fourth seeded Celtics will most likely face the top seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round. With the loss, Miami Heat could now focus for the 2010-11 season. Dwyane Wade will become a free agent and whether he remains as a Heat or not remains yet to be seen. Wade was quoted saying that "he and LeBron plays well together" which means that Wade might end up playing with LeBron. Though seeing these two highly rated stars play for the same team is highly unlikely and odd, it is possible. Anything is possible. Miami should keep Wade by bringing in key additions during the... | |
