| What's your favorite sports metaphor? | | Do you have a favorite you use in your everyday life?
Just heard on the radio today, talk about the Boston Bruins' game after their long west coast trip. On their first game back on the East coast, they were so flat, they couldn't punch their way out of a wet bag! That's one great metaphor. I think I'll be using it in my everyday conversations.
Or do you like staples? Like, giving it a 110 percent, deliver a knock-out blow, on a level playing field, coming out of left field, etc.
What's your favorite? How do you use it? | |
| | I love this Happy Gilmore comedy! He makes me laugh. | | Hey, you guys!!!I bet you all have heard of this Happy Gilmore comedy. He is a real funny golfer, wearing a Boston Bruins jersey. He is the one that makes me laugh. I love the part when he fights with Bob Barker, the retired host of the Price Is Right, for possibly ratings during a golf tournament. I am not sure what they both fight for. But this scene is real funny. I enjoy Happy's great funny golfing plays, especially hitting the ball up in the air and possibly hitting a woman in the breats. | |
