| | Pregnancy of a pregnant woman | | Julia Grovenburg of Arkansas State of US was trying to have a child for three years. When she failed to have a child Julia became disheartened. Then her husband Tod Grovenburg shared the frustration with her. At last last February she became pregnant. After regular medical check up the couple came to know that they were becoming the parents of a girl child. They named their baby as Jillian. Next 25th December she would give birth of her girl child. For the final check up Julia went to the hospital. But a great surprise was waiting for her. After ultra sound test doctors of the hospital said, she again conceived. This time she would have a boy child and the probable date of the baby's birth would be next 11th January. This news made the Tod-Julia couple astonished and the same time they became over joyed. The doctors said, this is a very rare event of the world. In medical science it is called 'super fetation'. In US so far 10 such events occured. The doctors had given caution the parents that if before selected time a baby have to be given birth then the baby boy will come first in the earth for the position of the baby in the uterus. | How would you like to find a diamond? | | Yes, that was what i said.A man found a 4.68 carat white diamond on sept. 20 of 2008.One of arkansas state parks "Crater of diamonds" is a well know diamond field.Let me tell you how it works. The park has a volcanic pipe that is gem bearing. as the surface erodes away more and more of the surface is uncovered. to help even more the park staff plow the 37 acre field. The best time to find the gems are after a rain storm and just after plowing. The cost of entering the park is $7 per adults, $4 for children 6-12 and free for children below 6. The park has exhibits and staff that will show you how and what to do. If you fild anything it's yours.I spent the day there about a month ago. i did not find anything but, that is just my luck or lack of.I had a great time just looking on the ground for the gems.it is a great place to bring the kids and talk about show and tell.they will get an "A". What would you do with your diamond? Would you like to try? I did. | |
| | Sales: An overview | | What have we learned from sales? That there is such a thing as the customer's needs. That everyone is unique. That we have a responsibility to meet those needs, and it takes sufficient information to fill those needs. Why do I say to ask and ask again for the sale? I'll clue you in on something. We live in an amnesiatic society - that is, one that forgets as soon as you tell them. We were in shock in Oklahoma after the blast that killed 168 people. We were in shock as a nation on 9-11 after 2 airplanes crashed into the WTC. We were in shock as we saw our own young men and women go off to die in two wars, in first Afghanistan and then Iraq, for greed and money. And yet, I am saying that sales is still the key to making a turn around. When we are in a state of shock, we will not be able to remember from one day to the next what we learned the day before. Therefore, to make sales we have got to constantly remind our potential customer of the need to make a purchase. I haven't got this by some mystical revelation, this is what life in the big city is all about. I have to relate some stories here, for stories, or tales, or folklore, is what essentially drives the point... | |

| Two 8 Year Old Twins Find a Diamond? | | Did anyone hear about the 2 8 year old twins that found a 2.5 carat diamond in an Arkansas State Park? I saw this story on Yahoo, and apparently it could be worth thousands of dollars. Does anyone know if the kids would receive the proceeds from this, or is there some type of law regarding this kind of situation for state parks? | |
| | DWI drivers and punishment | | I saw this article on msn.com:http://www.msnbc.msc.com/id/17190887/It basically says that a Representative in the Arkansas State Senate is proposing that repeat DWI offenders must have a pink license plate on their cars. The first letters on the plate will read "DWI." This is to ensure that other drivers know that the one with the pink license plate is a habitual drunken driver, and I'm sure, to give a little bit of embarrassment to the drunk. Do you think this is a good idea? Personally, I think it's a great idea. It should be implemented in every state, and sex offenders should have something similar on their cars too. | |

| State Democratic Party Chairman Shot At State Party Headquarters. | | I can't believe that someone has gone to these lengths to express there dissatisfaction with the political process here in the United States. What is going on? Are we now copying the actions of the opposition parties in Zimbabwe, Russia, North Korea, Lebanon or the many other dispicable countries that practice this type of behavior. This is America. We should be able to enjoy our Democratic process without resorting to violence. This is not the first episode of violent speach or violent actions towards those who support the Democratic party. This has to be nipped in the bud. It is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. It is a DISGRACE.Here is the article. What is your opinion?(Little Rock, Ark.) KTHV -- The Arkansas Democratic Party says the chairman, Bill Gwatney, is hospitalized in critical condition after shooting at party headquarters in downtown Little Rock. Little Rock police say a suspect in the shooting was shot after after a chase that ended near Sheridan in Grant County.
