| | Getting us on the map! | | I just wanted to post this because there was absolutely nothing here. Sigh..Alabama isn't all that bad. We have some very nice aspects. For starters, there are many, many small towns still around. Where I just moved from, everyone knew everyone. Here seems to be about the same but they don't know me (yet)..Though some already do and recognize me in the store or library..I don't go out very much..Everything I need is within walking distance..A beautiful lake, swaying trees, colorful flowers, birds singing, and a downstairs Pepsi machine:D Just wanted to get Alabama on the My Lot map! | |

I know that I want to concentrate in child welfare but is there anything else I could do with a bachelors in social work. I do plan on going for my masters also I don't plan on stopping at my bachelors, so if you know any information I'd really appreciate your input. Thank You in advance!!!
| | Money, Money, Everything Going Up NothingComing Down. | | Everybody wants money, the economy is bad, plants are closing, people are being laid off right and left. Why can't someone somewhere, help us just a little. We need help not increases on the bill statement.[i]

This is very depressing and disappointing. I can't pay the premium the way it is how can I pay with an increase. That's probably not the end of it I haven't been to mailbox today.Have you gotten an increase on any of your bill statements lately?
| | Alabama Wants to Tax Fat People | | Alabama is the third fattest state in the nation, and it is not going to take it anymore!
According to this article:
http://www.thedailygreen.com/healthy-eating/eat-safe/alabama-fat-tax-44082808The Alabama state government is posing a threat to state employees: lose weight or pay a fat tax. Obese members of the state's 37,527-employee workforce will be charged an extra $25 a month to help pay for their health insurance.Proponents think this is a great incentive to lose weight, while opponents believe it is discrimination. What do you think? Should overweight people be fined?
